Resa graduated from the University of Arizona in Finance (Go Cats!) and began her 17-year career in residential lending. In 1998 she was drawn to Portland by the distant memory of a road trip to the Pacific Northwest in a beat-up VW bus. She landed a job at a local bank in the mortgage department where she met Ken and immediately found a like-minded collaborator. Eventually, she left the bank to join Ken in his newly-formed mortgage company and ultimately became his business partner. She finds working in the mortgage industry to be very gratifying, especially when guiding a borrower through the complexities and frequent frustrations of the loan process.

Resa loves travelling, wine tasting, and exploring the local food scene, as well as spending time in the outdoors kayaking and hiking . She has a passion for soccer and has played on several teams while also supporting the Timbers, Thorns, and U of P Pilots. She also loves the Blazers and Seahawks and will always cheer for the Ducks and Beavers, provided they aren’t playing against the U of A. However, she cheers the loudest and proudest for her two daughters’ teams.
